Open Compute is a decentralized computing network that connects hardware providers with AI developers, enabling anyone to contribute spare CPU/GPU resources or access affordable distributed computing power for AI training, rendering, and large-scale computations - all within a secure, community-driven ecosystem.
The Open Compute consists of four core components:
User - Compute buyers who consume resources on demand for AI training or gaming.
Worker - CPU/GPU owners who provide the actual compute resources to the platform for use.
Verifier - Network validators that ensure computational accuracy and maintain system security.
Central - The coordination hub handling service discovery, authentication, resource scheduling, and task management.
