Worker Nodes
Turn Idle CPU/GPUT into Earnings
Worker Nodes
Worker Nodes are the compute providers of the OpenCompute network, responsible for executing assigned computational tasks. Any user with a GPU or CPU can easily connect their device to the OpenCompute network and become a Worker Node. The system intelligently allocates tasks based on hardware capability, uptime, task completion history, and reputation score, rewarding contributors with esNEB tokens.
Core Responsibilities
Receive and execute scheduled computational tasks (e.g., model inference, training).
Maintain device uptime and respond promptly to task assignments.
Submit verifiable results to ensure task accuracy.
Connect to at least one Verifier Node for validation and network integration.
Incentive Mechanism
Uptime Rewards: Earn base rewards for consistent online availability and stability.
Compute Rewards: Earn additional rewards based on efficiency, timeliness, and quality of completed tasks.
Reputation System: Nodes are dynamically scored; higher-reputation nodes receive priority in task allocation and rewards.
Penalty System: Frequent downtime, failed tasks, or refusal to execute tasks will lower reputation scores and may suspend task eligibility.
Worker Nodes enable every user’s device to become a productive part of the network. Through contributing compute resources, participants not only generate income but also collectively help build a decentralized computing infrastructure, driving Nebulai toward becoming the world’s largest distributed AI platform.
