Worker Nodes

Turn Idle CPU/GPUT into Earnings

Worker Nodes

Worker Nodes are the compute providers of the OpenCompute network, responsible for executing assigned computational tasks. Any user with a GPU or CPU can easily connect their device to the OpenCompute network and become a Worker Node. The system intelligently allocates tasks based on hardware capability, uptime, task completion history, and reputation score, rewarding contributors with esNEB tokens.

Core Responsibilities

  • Receive and execute scheduled computational tasks (e.g., model inference, training).

  • Maintain device uptime and respond promptly to task assignments.

  • Submit verifiable results to ensure task accuracy.

  • Connect to at least one Verifier Node for validation and network integration.

Incentive Mechanism

  • Uptime Rewards: Earn base rewards for consistent online availability and stability.

  • Compute Rewards: Earn additional rewards based on efficiency, timeliness, and quality of completed tasks.

  • Reputation System: Nodes are dynamically scored; higher-reputation nodes receive priority in task allocation and rewards.

  • Penalty System: Frequent downtime, failed tasks, or refusal to execute tasks will lower reputation scores and may suspend task eligibility.

Worker Nodes enable every user’s device to become a productive part of the network. Through contributing compute resources, participants not only generate income but also collectively help build a decentralized computing infrastructure, driving Nebulai toward becoming the world’s largest distributed AI platform.
