Start a Worker Node
To ensure the stability and security of the OpenCompute network, users must stake esNEB to activate Worker Nodes, in addition to meeting basic hardware and network requirements.
1. Staking Requirements
Each Worker Node requires a 10,000 esNEB stake as collateral.
A single wallet may stake more than 10,000 esNEB to operate multiple Worker Nodes. The number of active nodes allocated to a wallet is proportional to the total staked amount.
Staking is revocable: users may remove a Worker Node and initiate an unstaking process, subject to a 15-day cooldown period.
2. Node Activation Process
Nebulai allows a single wallet to operate multiple Worker Nodes, provided the staked amount scales accordingly (e.g., staking 30,000 esNEB enables 3 Worker Nodes).
Connect your wallet through the OpenCompute dashboard and navigate to Worker Node → My Workers.
Select Add Worker to launch a new Worker Node or Remove Worker to deactivate one.
Once staking is complete, nodes can be activated to begin participating in compute tasks and earning uptime rewards.
3. Minimum Operational Requirements
Sufficient CPU/GPU resources meeting baseline specifications.
Stable and continuous network connectivity and system uptime.
Ability to start a Worker Node via web browser (connected to a Verifier Node) or via CLI interface.
